Arrowpoint Advisory advises the shareholders of Tryzens, an international digital commerce solutions agency, on its management buy-out backed by WestBridge Capital

Arrowpoint Advisory’s TMT sector team has advised the shareholders of Tryzens, an international digital commerce solutions agency, on its management buy-out (MBO) backed by WestBridge Capital, making the first investment from WestBridge Fund III and an exit for Scottish Equity Partners (SEP).

The Tryzens management team chose WestBridge as its preferred partner to set new foundations to accelerate the growth of Tryzens, which is focused on global expansion, deeper market penetration, and broader presence in adjacent verticals.

For many years, Tryzens has cultivated a reputation for delivering end-to-end digital commerce strategies and solutions to global businesses with a digital-first approach. Tryzens collaborates with brands to optimise customer experience and growth through digital channels, and partners with technology vendors to streamline the implementation of merchant solutions.

Tryzens follows a customer-led and technology-agnostic approach to implementing business solutions, using both enterprise and headless architecture. It has deep technical and solutions expertise in Salesforce solutions and works with a broad range of platforms that include SAP, Adobe, and Shopify Plus to ensure its clients receive the best solutions that meet their digital experience, commercial, and operational needs.

Andy Burton, CEO at Tryzens, said: “We have known Daniel and the team at Arrowpoint Advisory for many years as they nurtured their relationship with us, sharing their knowledge and understanding of our market, which made them a logical choice to partner with when the time came for us to consider our options.”

“Arrowpoint Advisory not only demonstrated an excellent understanding of the landscape of potential acquirers and investors, but Daniel, Joe and the team, became an inextricable extension of Tryzens throughout the process, amplifying our message, helping us sort the wood from the trees, and ultimately presented us with a range of really great options to consider. Undoubtedly, a strong bond of trust and collaboration was forged over the relatively short period of the process as time and again they brought complexity into focus and gave direction to maintain momentum, which culminated in our decision to select WestBridge as our investor. Arrowpoint practise their craft with reassuring confidence and expertise.”

Tony Robison, Partner at SEP and former non-executive director at Tryzens, added: “We are delighted that Arrowpoint Advisory advised the Tryzens shareholders. Arrowpoint has a long-standing relationship with Tryzens and a deep understanding of its strengths, given a long-standing track-record in the space. Not only were the Arrowpoint team by our side throughout, they ran a slick and highly efficient process, provided strategic advice and practical hands-on support throughout. Arrowpoint’s professional attitude, knowledge and experience helped to guide us towards a successful exit and an exceptional outcome. I would highly recommend them.”

Joe Barnett, Director at Arrowpoint Advisory, highlighted: “Tryzens is a standout asset. We have been incredibly impressed with the business that Andy and the Tryzens team have built, with the support and backing of SEP. We’re delighted to have helped find in WestBridge a strong and supportive partner for their next phase of growth and we wish them all the best going forwards.”

Daniel Domberger, Managing Director at Arrowpoint Advisory, concluded: “This deal demonstrates the strong appeal of high quality, digital-native agencies, and is the latest in a long series of Tech Services and eCommerce tech transactions Arrowpoint Advisory has completed, spanning platforms and underlying technologies.”
