Arrowpoint Advisory has advised global talent search firm Redgrave Partners on its investment from Woodberry Capital
Arrowpoint Advisory has advised Redgrave Partners on its investment from Dublin-based private equity firm Woodberry Capital. Founded by entrepreneur Brian Hamill, Redgrave is a fast-growing global executive search firm, operating cross functionally and primarily at board level, for FTSE100 multinationals, privately owned and private equity-backed businesses.
Arrowpoint Advisory also arranged a senior acquisition finance package from Clydesdale Bank to support Woodberry’s equity investment.
Woodberry Capital is a Dublin-based private equity firm led by founder Patrick Doran and investing in businesses with long-term growth potential. The transaction represents Woodberry’s first investment in the United Kingdom.
Brian Hamill, CEO, said: “I have known Patrick, Lewis and the wider team at Arrowpoint Advisory for many years and have valued their insight and guidance as we have grown the business. The investment from Woodberry came at the perfect time in the development of Redgrave and we are delighted to have them as a partner.”
The investment and expertise of Woodberry will accelerate Redgrave’s growth plans as it seeks to add new people and capabilities to capitalise on the significant market opportunity for independent operators in the human capital sector, both in the UK and internationally.
Lewis Gray, Director at Arrowpoint Advisory, concluded: “Woodberry is the perfect partner for Brian and his team at Redgrave as they pursue the next phase of growth. The talent market was buoyant throughout 2021 and that continues into this year, providing an ideal backdrop to their growth ambitions. We wish the team great success for the future.”
